About me

How did you get into music?

As a child, I started with drums and beatboxing, and through hip-hop, I got into rap and beatmaking. My goal was to produce '90s boombap beats. My first beats were created when I sampled my father's old records in 2010. In parallel, there was a rap crew for which I built the beats.

Later, I felt the need to play the instruments myself, such as piano, guitar, and bass. I try my hand at all sorts of instruments, but rhythm remains my thing.

How would you describe your music?

Currently, I have two projects: "FILSER" a mix of everything that has influenced me and what I privately listen to, including '70s, '80s, soul, funk, jazz.

Then there's "DOODLE TUNES", my Lo-Fi Beats project, where I stay true to my roots. By the way.

What inspires your tracks?

Pretty much everything. I enjoy being in nature. Of course, the music I listen to also influences my current recordings, as do interpersonal relationships, from which I reproduce emotions in my tracks.

Often, an idea, a beat, or melody just pops into my head. I try to capture it with a voice note on my smartphone or just hit record in my DAW.

How do you record the tracks or produce the final mixes?

I work with an iMac and mostly with Ableton Live, after trying several DAW’s. I use a mix of plugins, one-shots, and loops, as well as my collection of real instruments.

I use them to bring some "human feeling" and liveliness to my tracks. These include drums, percussion, guitar, bass, synthesizers, and keyboards like the Roland JV-2080, Korg T3, and some old Casios.

Mixing, mastering and studio technology have always interested me, and I always wanted to be able to do it myself, to be independent and to save money of course lol, so i do it all by myself ;)
